The Mao3D Extension Program at the Federal University of São Paulo - Unifesp has the mission of  donating upper limb prostheses manufactured by 3D printing to people all over Brazil. We use open source models from e-Nable and Team Unlimbited, improving them and developing our own studies of prostheses.

Mao3D was created by Profa. Dr. Maria Elizete Kunkel, PhD in Biomechanics and professor of Biomedical Engineering courses at the Institute of Science and Technology (ICT) of Unifesp São José dos Campos SP. Mao3D has a partnership with volunteer psychologists, occupational therapists, designers, orthotics, podiatrists, engineers and undergraduate and graduate students
